The concept

I discussed this with Anna and Guido Anselmi at Salone del Mobile Milano on the Bieffeplast stand. I returned to London, developed and made the prototype.

Scorpion The triangular module can be located anywhere between the two curved, conducting, metal rails. The light switches on when the triangular module is located between the two conducting metal rails. 

To switch the light off remove the module from between the metal rails. Or by means of a switch on the side. The module can be positioned on the base.

At the end of the two curved, metal rails, the black acrylic triangle has two red, triangular LED lights.

The prototype

I made it over the month of August in a one of my silversmithing tutors from Camberwell, Alistair McCallum, workshop in Old Street, London. 

Made in metal and acrylic. The main lamp was a 12 volt 50 watt tungsten halogen. There were two red, triangular LED’s at the top.
