There were the humans, the Hopi, Tohono, Pima and other tribes and there was the land, trees, sky and the sun. Then the Jesuits came, then the army, then the West.
Here’s the sketch in Gouache on A2 cartrige paper. If I wasn’t so lazy I’d paint it on to canvas, though I kinda like it on paper. The issue has been that as the first part of two part furniture project I can’t get it to workout. That is until just now, while I’ve been up-dating the page and looking at the image and reading the words again. I got an image in my cerebral sketchbook that I’ll muse over.
